BLUEPRINT

There was a clear and unambiguously formulated plan. Preparations started early enough.
Every question was answered, every function covered - nothing could go wrong.
She will have to leave the planet.
Earth as it was could no longer be her home.
The human race has been decimated almost to the point of extinction by a hideous mutation that caused a series of transformations at the neuronal level which either killed or transformed them into savages/ violent aliens that looked exactly like humans, in truth, insects in disguise/ emotionless machines who gained consciousness and instantly start killing all humans/ dragons. The wars that broke out between humans and the savages/ aliens/ machines/ dragons lasted nearly 70 years and ended up changing the face of the Earth. The planet was reduced to a barren desert - a desolate nuclear wasteland highly toxic and radioactive. Numerical superiority of the savages/ aliens/ machines/ dragons almost wiped out the humans.
Some individuals seemed to be immune/ manage to escape, and a few of them - like she did - even developed other mutations/ powers that just enhanced their human senses without altering their humanity.
The survivals will have to move to another planet, into another galaxy and give Earth the time it needs to heal.
Much of the technology was lost but scientific achievement didn't vanished. New weapons and machines were developed. The new ships could only be operated by mutants who had the neurological capacity of accessing their senses at a level that normal people couldn't. The elongated shaped fuselage allowed great mobility and the state-of-the-art enhanced particle accelerator/ crystal / dark energy/ warp propulsion system enabled it to travel at top speed.
She was leading the first colonization mission. Sitting at the console in her skin-tight spandex suit with no pockets/ mass-produced silver uniform she set course for the third planet of the Alpha Centauri system.
As she took a last look at the devastated planet she thought:
“Do they know that humanity might be our biggest weakness?”

DO NOT RECYCLE

"Do not recycle!!- consume the resources, cut down the forest, eat the animals than build a giant space ship and leave the fucking planet. But what ever you do, do not recycle" - that's what my grandmother always used to say...
-And you listened to her?
-Of course. ..she was my grandmother.
